Darkness

It was my birthday the other day and, despite working the morning, my lovely girl got me a cake and then we went out for dinner.




When we got back I looked out the window and saw the beautiful full moon, it lit up the room...

Just got back from Leicester's Summer Sundae festival

We had a nice time doing the bare minimum of what the festival experience required from us- the line up didn't blow us away to be perfectly honest so we mainly dossed about...





And though it looks nice on these pictures (ie me enjoying an interview with Chris Hughton) the weather was terrible to start with- it rained...



and rained...



So we were in the market for somewhere warm and cosy- the city's bar's and cafés- such as the wonderful Orange Tree



But the weather picked up eventually









And then it descended into night- it was always a bit cold at night...








But the crowds did seem better at this time...
